Read your analytics: organic and ads
Review organic performance and paid results in their own scopes on one analytics page.
Updated 17 August 2026
Use the two analytics scopes
Sequence brings analytics onto one page with two scopes: organic and ads. Use the organic scope to review results from organic content. Use the ads scope to review paid results after the brand’s advertising accounts have been connected.
The scopes are kept separate so you can understand what came from organic activity and what came from paid activity. You can move between them on the same page without combining two different kinds of performance into a single reading. This makes comparisons clearer while keeping both parts of the brand’s results close together.
Connect paid accounts per brand
Connections are made per brand. If your workspace has several brands, connect the appropriate Meta and Google Ads accounts for each one rather than treating the workspace as a single combined account. This keeps paid results with the brand they describe.
- 01Choose the brand whose paid performance you want to review.
- 02Connect its Meta account for the Meta paid results that belong to that brand.
- 03Connect its Google Ads account for the Google paid results that belong to that brand.
- 04Return to analytics and use the ads scope to review the connected paid results beside the brand’s organic view.
Read signals and top posts
Best-time signals help you identify timing patterns in the available performance information. Use them as guidance when deciding when future content may be well placed. They support planning, but they do not replace your understanding of the brand, its audience, or the purpose of a particular post.
Top posts show which content performed most strongly within the scope you are viewing. Check the active scope before interpreting them. A top organic post reflects organic performance, while paid results remain in the ads scope.
Review best-time signals and top posts together when shaping the next plan. Keep the organic and ads scopes distinct as you do so, then use the findings that are relevant to the kind of content or campaign you are preparing.
