What we collect, and who else sees it.

What this website collects

The public site has no signup forms and no lead capture. Two pieces of storage keep the site working: the currency preference, which holds a currency code for one year, and a first-touch record of how you originally reached the site, which is kept so the right campaign gets credit if you later sign up. Both are held as a cookie and in your browser's local storage. Dub also stores a referral identifier for up to 90 days when someone follows an affiliate link, so a later signup and first payment can be credited to the right partner.

We use analytics and advertising tools on this site, and they do set cookies. Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics count page views and show us which channels bring people here. PostHog records which pages a visit touched, so we can see where people get stuck; if you go on to create a Sequence account, that earlier browsing is linked to it. Dub measures affiliate clicks, signups, and sales so we can calculate partner commissions. Microsoft Clarity records a replay of your visit to this site, including mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling. The Meta pixel tells Meta that a browser visited this site, which is what lets us measure and target advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

The chat bubble is run by Crisp. Opening it starts a chat session stored in your browser, and whatever you type, along with any name or email you choose to give, is stored by Crisp so we can read it and reply. We do not send Crisp anything about you that you have not typed yourself.

You can stop all of the analytics, advertising, and chat tools with a browser content blocker or by refusing non-essential cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes visitor IP addresses in its server logs, as every host does, to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

If you email us, we receive what you send and your address, and we use it only to reply.

Your Sequence account

When you hit Start for free, you move to the Sequence app at app.sequencesocial.com. Account data, workspace content, and connected platform data are handled there and covered by the privacy terms shown inside the app.

How we use what you send us

Anything you email us is used to answer you and improve the product. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We keep email conversations only as long as they are useful for helping you, and we delete them on request.

Where information is processed

This site is hosted on Vercel, whose servers are primarily in the United States. The analytics, advertising, and referral providers named above process data in the United States, including Dub's affiliate customer and technical data. Crisp, which runs the chat, is a European company and processes chat messages on its own servers. Analytics data, affiliate attribution, chat messages, and server logs are therefore processed outside the country you are visiting from.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete anything you have sent us. Email hello@sequencesocial.com from the address you used and we will take it from there. See the data deletion page for the request steps.

If you are unhappy with how we handled a privacy request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
