Understand how an idea moves through planning, media review, approval, scheduling, and publishing in Sequence.

What to know

Plan the work

Create a content piece in Content, then use Plan for the brief, copy, links, files, and working notes.

Prepare and review media

Open Media to upload creative, compare versions, leave timestamped or visual feedback, and keep the approved version with the piece.

Collect approval

Send the relevant stage to an approver. Feedback and decisions remain attached to the content piece.

Prepare each target

Open Publish, select connected accounts, check the post type and platform-specific fields, then resolve preflight issues.

Schedule or publish

Choose a time or publish immediately. Monitor the result in Schedule and return to the piece if a target fails.

The same content piece carries the plan, creative history, decisions, and publishing result from start to finish.

If something goes wrong

  • If a stage is unavailable, check the content status and your brand permissions.
  • If publishing is blocked, open the affected target in Publish and follow the validation message.
