Understand workspaces and brands
A workspace is the shared home for your operation in Sequence. It can hold one brand or several brands. Team members and client users join the workspace, then see the parts of it that their roles allow.
A brand keeps its social accounts and content work together. If an agency manages several clients, each client brand can sit inside the same workspace while access remains based on each person’s role. This lets agency users run the operation and lets client users focus on the work they need to review and approve.
Add your first brand
Use one brand as the home for the posts, approvals, publishing connections, and analytics that belong together. When you add more brands later, repeat the same structure so work stays separated by brand within the workspace.
- 01Open your workspace settings and find the area for managing brands.
- 02Add the first brand using the information requested in your workspace.
- 03Check that the brand appears in the workspace before you connect accounts or begin planning posts.
Connect social accounts
Connected social accounts allow the brand’s posts to be scheduled to a calendar or published now. Keep each account connected to the brand whose content it will publish. You can then invite the team members and clients who will plan, review, approve, or run the operation.
- 01Choose the brand that will own the social accounts.
- 02From your workspace settings, start the connection for each social account you want to use with that brand.
- 03Complete the connection process presented by Sequence and the social platform.
- 04Return to the brand and confirm that the intended accounts are connected before scheduling or publishing.
