Interpret piece and target states without confusing an internal workflow status with a platform result.

What to know

Scheduled

The target has a future delivery record and is waiting for its publish time.

Preparing media

Sequence is preparing an eligible file or platform payload before delivery can continue.

Publishing

The target has entered delivery and is waiting for the external platform result.

Published

Sequence has evidence that the target was accepted and published. Delivery fields can remain locked to match the live record.

Failed

The target did not complete. Open its error, correct the cause, and retry only the failed target when possible.

You can distinguish future, in-progress, successful, and recoverable target states.

If something goes wrong

  • A content piece can be published with one or more failed targets. Check target-level states.
