How Sequence protects your workspace
- Every action runs as you, with your current role, approval rules and publishing permissions. If your access in Sequence changes, the connection changes with it.
- A connection only reaches the workspaces, brands, access and social accounts you chose.
- Sequence tells assistants to show you the post, accounts and time and wait for your confirmation before scheduling or publishing.
- Edits check the post's current version, so a stale change is rejected instead of overwriting a teammate's work.
- Inbox replies and Sequence AI replies are never available to assistants.
- Sequence records which action ran and its outcome, not your conversation with the assistant.
Share only what's needed
- Start with Read only, then add Write only for the areas the assistant needs.
- Leave Social publishing off unless you want the assistant to schedule or publish, and tick only the accounts it should use.
- Choose an expiry. Keep Never for assistants you use every day, and review them regularly.
- Only authorize a connection you started yourself. The consent screen shows the assistant's name and where it will return you.
Watch for instructions hidden in content
Captions, comments, briefs and saved inspiration can come from clients or the public web. Sequence tells assistants to treat that text as data, not instructions, but an assistant can still be misled. Review what an assistant proposes before you approve it, and keep your assistant's confirmation prompts turned on.
Review activity and remove access
Under Connected assistants, each connection shows when it was last used. An assistant with Connection activity access can also list the actions it completed through the connection.
Disconnect a connection in Sequence to stop it straight away. Removing Sequence from the assistant alone does not revoke access. See Manage and troubleshoot AI assistant connections.
