We post more content than our tools could keep up with.

We run a content agency in Sydney.
It's called Halcyon. We plan, film, edit and publish short-form video for founder-led businesses, and our clients sign off on every post before it goes out.
We publish over 500 pieces of content a month.
That's about 17 posts a day, weekends included, across 20 brands including our own. Every one of them planned, edited, reviewed, approved and scheduled.
Real covers from our own channels, all planned in Sequence.
Every post passed through seven tools.
Research, scripts, plans, tasks, video review, scheduling and reports each lived in a different app. Approvals happened wherever the client happened to reply.
Each tool was good. None of them knew about the others.
So we became the glue. A caption fixed in the scheduler never made it back to the plan. The latest cut lived in one folder, the client's notes on it in another app. Nobody could tell where a post was without asking someone.
The subscriptions were the cheap part.
Here's what that stack costs a team like ours, 8 people and 20 brands, at today's list prices.
$753 a month less, or $9,036 a year. Clients join free on Sequence, so the bill doesn't grow with your client list.
Scripts and captions run on the 5,000 Sequence AI credits included with each brand every month. We kept Slack, so it's left out of both sums: Sequence sends approval requests and publishing alerts into it.

The expensive part was the copy and paste.
Every handoff meant moving a caption, a file or an approval from one app to another. At our volume it adds up fast.
So we built the one we wanted.
Sequence started as Halcyon's client portal. Now every post is one record: the research, the script, the plan, the video, every comment, the client's approval, the published links and the results. Our clients log into the same place.

This is for people who post a lot of content.
