Introducing the Sequence affiliate program
Recommend Sequence to teams you know. Learn who the affiliate program suits, how referrals work, and what the 30% first-payment commission means.

If you help agencies, creators or content teams choose their tools, you can now earn a commission when you recommend Sequence. The Sequence affiliate program gives you a personal referral link and pays 30% of a referred workspace's first cleared Pro payment. Here is how it works, and when it is a good fit for the people you work with.
Who the Sequence affiliate program is for
The program is for people who already help others run social content: agency owners, consultants, educators, creators, newsletter writers and communities. It is free to join, and you do not need to be a Sequence customer.
The useful starting point is a real workflow problem. Perhaps a client is chasing approvals across email threads, or a student is ready to move from a spreadsheet into a shared content workspace. A recommendation means more when you can explain which part of their work Sequence could help with.
You do not need to turn every conversation into a referral. Share Sequence when it fits, and try the free plan first if you want to understand the product before recommending it.
What you earn when a team joins
You earn 30% of the referred workspace's first cleared payment on a Pro plan. Monthly and yearly plans both qualify. If the team chooses yearly billing, the full upfront yearly payment counts.
This is a first-payment commission, not an ongoing share of subscription renewals. There is no cap on the number of teams you can refer, and no minimum balance before you qualify for your first payout.
Commissions are tallied at the end of each month and paid the following month, once the referral's payment has cleared. A visit or a free signup on its own does not generate a commission.
How referrals are tracked
Your personal referral link runs through Dub, the partner portal used for applications, referral links, attribution, commissions and payouts.
Sequence uses first-touch attribution with a 90-day window. The referral link that first brings someone to Sequence receives the credit, rather than a later link taking over. The referral is connected to the customer at signup, so the connection can carry through the gap between their first visit and first payment.
Use your personal referral link when sharing. A plain link to the Sequence homepage is not the same as your tracked affiliate link.
How to get started
- Apply through Dub. Tell us who you are and where you would share Sequence. You can start from the Sequence partner application.
- Get your personal referral link. Once you have joined, use the link supplied through the partner portal.
- Share it with a relevant audience. Explain the workflow you think Sequence can help with, rather than simply dropping a link.
- Earn when a referral starts Pro. The commission is based on the first qualifying payment after it clears.
Where a recommendation can be useful
An agency consultant might include the link in a client onboarding document alongside an explanation of how the team will plan and approve content. An educator might add it to the resources for a course module on managing a content calendar. A creator could include it below a video showing their actual planning process.
A newsletter recommendation can work too, especially when it describes who the product suits and what you have used it for. Keep the recommendation specific, make the affiliate relationship clear, and avoid claims you cannot support.
A few boundaries to know
The program does not allow referrals to your own workspace, bidding on Sequence brand terms in paid search, or sharing links in ways that misrepresent the product or its pricing. Commissions on referrals that breach these rules are withheld.
Before sharing price or feature details, check the current pages. The affiliate program page is the reference for program terms, and Sequence pricing explains the available plans.
Recommend Sequence to a team you know
If there is an agency, creator or content team you already think would benefit from Sequence, the affiliate program gives you a way to be paid for that introduction.
